The calculations are based on full-time (or full-time equivalent) salary levels indicated in jobs that have been advertised on the ArtsJobFinder website and in ArtsProfessional magazine.
To find out the average, minimum and maximum salary offered for a particular job title:
Select the keyword(s) contained within the job title you are interested in. For example, select the word 'General' and the word 'Manager' to calculate salaries offered for General Manager posts. Select the words 'Arts' and 'Development' and 'Officer' and you will see the salaries offered to Arts Development Officers. (But the greater the number of search words you select, the fewer the results the calculation will be based on.)
Decide over which period of time you would like to calculate the salary level. (Over the past year, the past two years, or the past three years.)
Decide which part of the UK you are interested in. (Salary levels can differ between London, outside London and the different countries of the UK.)
