Graffiti Artist, NICOLA (New International Company of Live Arts)
GRAFFITI ARTISTS WANTED!
NICOLA (New International Company for Live Arts) needs ten Graffiti Artists to help create a graffiti canvas at their Talent Factory Festival on September 25th 2010.
NICOLA is a non-profit organisation born out of the desire to bring the arts and young people together. NICOLA provides opportunities for youngsters to get involved in creative activities, helping them develop useful skills, encouraging cultural and social awareness and fuelling interest in careers in the arts. Whilst providing outlets for artistic expression, our projects are also designed to promote an ethos of cooperation and tolerance.
The Talent Factory Festival 2010 will include performances from several DJ’s, bands and young artists; a series of free interactive workshops in music, dance, acting, circus acrobatics and visual arts; stalls offering free refreshment; an art exhibition; an art installation and a live graffiti canvas. The canvas will be created during the festival and later displayed and sold to help raise money for disadvantaged youths to gain training within the arts industries.
